When I started working at RISD in 2001 as Senior Interactive Designer, I was interested in making videos that would go online and promote the school. I had recently worked at an advertising agency and had done a few video projects there and was eager to try producing for RISD. In those days, it was tough to get the budgets to fund the videos -- when hardly any were online -- so I started by making testimonial videos of students and faculty where I would shoot 8 people in one day to reduce the overall costs. I worked closely with animal-studio.com and fellow RISD alum Josh Backer on almost all of these.

These videos began to generate a lot of views and so then I was able to have a more dedicated budget to produce more "project" centric videos. I produced over 35 videos for RISD over a period of 8 years. Most of them are under 5 minutes in total viewing time. Some are award-winning. Here are a few....

A video about RISD's Tillinghast summer program for children -  at its waterfront location in Barrington RI. This video was created as a promotional one in 2011.

This video features several RISD Glass majors working on an installation piece for the RISD Museum. This video was produced in 2010.
