Typographic Pareidolia

Typographic Pareidolia

Illusory sensory perception or pareidolia occurs when external stimuli trigger perceptions of non-existent entities, reflecting erroneous matches between internal
representations and the sensory inputs.

I'm sure you have seen a lot of Jesus on my toast or Virgin Mary on my Doritos images so I thought it would be interesting to document the impromptu presence of letters in the streets, so I started my letter hunt on alleys and streets in Bucharest. This is not a photography or design project, it's strictly an imaginative observation based project. For me, observation is one of the most important tools a designer can have and use.

I was inspired to start this project by Steven Heller's Typographic Universe.
