We promoted ourselves as a branded "passion-based" agency speaking to an emotional response within a client's potential customer base. This was promoted throughout multiple platforms including Agency Spotter. See here. 
Through content like e-books and infographics, we sought to educate on content marketing and it benefits. This generated a lot of interest in our website and was also a great tool to vet out potential clients. 
A bi-weekly newsletter with the intention of educating, and pushing potential clients throughout sales funnel. Our mailing list had on average a 27% open rate, and an e-mail roster that included marketing execs from BJ's, Taco Bell, and Bosch. 
We created branded blog images that were posted natively on our blog, LinkedIn profiles, and featured prominently on several LinkedIn groups. See here for more.
