Yin-yang is one of the featuring images of Asian Philosophy. Western Culture has Figure-ground model, at the same time Eastern Culture has Yin-Yang. Basically, Yin-yang is two aspects of the same object. It’s the way we see every objects in the world- dividing them to two opposite faces: Short- Tall, Grand- tiny, Black- White, Convex-Concave, Fast- Slow, etc. These parts are normally mixed, morphosed, exchanging position but clearly defined.
Built on the geometric structure of Yin-Yang figure, we proposed an animation presenting the dynamic balance of Yin-Yang.
