On The Theme of B.A.C.H - The Art of Fugue

The gilded Slate Grey version of the design. Shown here enlarged and framed as part of music room décor.
This artwork is based on Bach's Art of Fugue. Particularly the very last piece known as the Unfinished Fugue in which he signed his own family's name in music as a theme for the fugue.
The premium treatment of this artwork comes with hand gilded letters done with 24carat gold. The letters are raised slightly in order to have an impressive light play that is reflected by the gold.
The four-letter name appears here to also stand as the representation of four-voice fugue. The swirling ornament interact and meshed into each other to describe the nature of fugue composition where the voices interact with each other.
The Golden Sand and Navy Blue version of the artprint. Each with different treatement of the letter fill. The prints are displayed here in the blue Chinese porcelain room.
The letters are surrounded by 4 large circular filigrees that represent the four-part voices in a fugue. They also representing the visual representation of the musical characteristics of a fugue composition where the voices weave in and out creating tapestry of sound.
The design comes in three color variant: Slate Grey, Golden Sand, and Navy Blue. Each with its own treatment of letter outline. Displayed here with the bust sculpture of J.S. Bach.
The four corners are adorned with ornamented forms of musical instruments: the violin, piano, horn, and oboe. The Art of Fugue is considered as the crowning achievement of all musical compositions.
