Karta Branding and Logo Design
Karta is envisioned as an app to help users create custom maps and itineraries, and document trips and journeys. The goal is to enhance the experience of travelling, no matter the length and complexity of the trip, by making organisation and social sharing easy and fun.
Shortlisting typefaces from Google Fonts. In the end, #2 was chosen, which is Baloo from Google Fonts with modified character spacing.
Using SAP BUILD's Feedback tool to elicit feedback from project team members on typeface choice.
Creating an inspiration/mood board to come up with the Karta logo. The images below were found using Google search and Flaticon, with the exception of the lone compass needle which was drawn in Sketch.
