BORN TO BE
Born To Be 는 국제적인 육상스포츠 경기인 IAAF를 홍보하는 영상으로 개인적 목적의 아트웍 영상입니다.
다른 스포츠 경기에 비해 관람층이 적은 젊은 층들의 흥미를 이끄는 것을 목적으로 NEON과 과장된 인물근육을 비주얼컨셉으로 잡았습니다.
여러 개의 육상 종목이 있지만, running 과 hurdle, pole vault 3가지 종목으로 요약해서 작업했습니다.
Born to be is an artwork that advertising IAAF, International Association of Athletics Federations.
I pushed the visual design to aim young people for taking an interest in an athletic meeting, expressing human muscle exaggeratedly, using a neon form. There are several events in IAAF but I focused on the main three sports which are running, hurdle and pole vault.

2/Main Color & Sub Color
메인컬러는 IAAF 로고의 화이트, 레드, 블루색상으로, 유럽 국가에서 공통적으로 가장 많이 들어가는 색상으로 잡았습니다.
The main colors are white, red, blue what are used for national flag in EU commonly.
The sub colors are green, purple, sky blue the used in IAAF logo.

To design the character more real, I put emphasis on the details of muscle and its moves form more exaggeratedly.

기존의 올림픽 디자인에서의 관습을 그대로 고수해 랜드마크로 2017년 IAAF의 개최국인 런던을 드러냈습니다.
또한 역동적인 인간의 움직임을 표현하고 현지 젊은 층의 문화를 반영하기위해 사이키델릭하고 화려한 네온빛으로 건물과 건물의 움직임을 디자인했습니다.
I tried to show London the host country of IAAF 2017, by its landmarks sticking to the existing custom of design from Olympics. Also to show the dynamic movements of athletes and the atmosphere of the excitedness of the sports ceremony, the whole concept of this work is psychedelic and shows fancy lights of neon.

나약하고 초라하기 그치없던 몸에서 완벽한 균형미를 갖춘 신체로 진화한다.
The body evolves from weak and humble one to complete and balanced one.
완벽한 신체의 인간이 넘어야할 장벽을 지나치려면 중력을 거슬러야하며, 하늘 위로 날아올라야 합니다. 인간은 폭발적인 에너지로 모든 조형물들을 거침없이 지나칩니다.
Complete form of human body is like a huge dimensional artwork. Which is high as sky, and to get there, one has to jump and fly into the sky. With the detonative energy, it sweeps everything.
