PROPAGANDA Metal is a Spanish heavy metal band (Cantabria), with strong influences of Machine Head, Fear Factory, Pantera or Brujería. They're always trying to find a personal touch in their music, that usually criticizes the society.
One month ago, the guys from PROPAGANDA asked me to create for them the concept for the cover of the new album, "Días de Miseria" (Days of Misery). An album that denounces both the precarious situation of people in society and in the day to day, as well as the internal miseries of each one of us.
Following this guidelines, I started to develop the first ideas:
Finally, I created a mix of this concepts and I presented the final result:
I love this kind of projects, it requires an elaborate level of Graphic Design, and a strong artistic and symbolic component. They wanted a very concrete aesthetic, although they gave me total freedom to create the concept, this should have some symbolism to transmit.
This is a project in wich I have enjoyed a lot, I hope you like it.
