Trama Atelie Criativo

In Portuguese, 'TRAMA' means: the plot of a movie, intrigue, a web, woof, the fabric fibers, and also something that was conspired, imagined, creating a narrative.
This is the Branding Design for a Brazilian Costume Designer. She works in the film industry and has her own studio where she creates her designs, weaving all the elements of 'trama' together.
The need was to improve communication with her clients through a strong brand identity, establish her brand firmly in their minds, and optimize her day-to-day tasks, such as organizing outfit sizes and fitting costumes.
I started by exploring the strength of the word and how to integrate its meanings into her activities. Brazilian culture is colorful and diverse, and this is reflected in her projects. Through research on cultural elements and the word itself, we graphically translated the delicate care and construction of elements. The logo sews its way together, with letters connected like a weave, forming a cohesive unit.
The final version is an animated logo that she can use for online spaces, can be applied to different surfaces, and can be used in color or monochromatic versions. We also created a simplified version for special uses, such as color-coded clothing tags, allowing the quick customization for each character on the film set.
Digital printing allows her to experiment and apply different textures and backgrounds, empowering her to fully own her brand and explore secondary design patterns.
