We all have those secret places in our mind - a labyrinth of memories and emotions.
The scent of coffee being made every morning didn’t linger anymore.
Only the smell of paint. Fresh white paint over the frivolous orange that you painted there.
Gone. Painted over like the memories never existed. Overwritten with a sad white.
