Donald Duck Swimming Lessons
When creating logos and design for a business, I think it weighs more when inspiration comes from a relative source. I live on a farm with plenty of animals, one of which is one of the most charismatic creatures I have met. His name is Donald and he was originally bought as an egg on ebay from Scotland. My girlfriend hatched him and the other eggs in an incubator, after familiarising himself with his featherless folks he quickly adapted to his surroundings on the farm. The River Lambourn runs through the farm and Donald, Dorris, Daphne and Daisy spend their days preening and monitoring the flow of wild ducks that pass by.
I love Donalds' nature, his mannerisms are quite unique, an element of dopiness but pride for his three lovely ladies. His waddle is somewhat slightly out of rhythm when running towards you after you call his name, his feathers are incredibly white and he has a lovely orange beak.
I was in the garden a few days ago, taking photos of wildlife, when Donald stepped out of the water, ruffled his feathers and looked at me as if to say (in a Scottish accent) ''Alright I'm ready for my photoshoot!''
After photographing him I decided to create a logo to which I could propose to a client. Donald Duck Swimming Lessons was the first idea to come to mind.

I decided to make the entire logo out of interlocking circles. Dotted lined circles to give you an idea of my process.
