The Negative Space as Our Source of Light.  

As a whole these 5 sheets of acetate paper (painted with India ink) hanging from strings and hangers, creates a layered scenery of one of Venice's canals. Strolling these streets, I witnessed the colorful and sometimes semitransparent fabrics flowing on clotheslines which created a luminous glow. In this piece, the function of the strings/hangers and the acetates translucency in motion depicts a symbolic atmosphere of the Venetian life.
