Kaisho Custom Japanese Typeface

Kaisho is an in-progress Japanese language typeface in the Japanese gothic style, known to western countries as sans-serif. The tagline of the specimen poster, "Modern glyphs for a Japanese syllabary," summarizes the goal of this project. Upright, readable, sans-serif hiragana glyphs were created to provide a typeface that can be used for print or web. Other syllabaries(katakana, kanji, as well as roman letters), will be added in the future.
