Sketches: These are the sketches that I made prior to making my final copy. While making these sketches, I tried to incorporate as many ideas that I could from the list below. I wanted to incorporate the main aspects that people can see in my family. I enjoyed making these sketches, because I felt it was interesting making a crest for my family. 

List: This is the list of characteristics that I come up with for my family. I tried to incorporate as many of these aspects into my final copy. 

After getting students in my class opinions on how my final should look, this is what I came up with. The two flags are the nationalities in my family. My mom is from South Korea and my dad is from Germany. The gold and maroon crest resembles ASU, because all of my family members have gone to ASU. The soccer ball is because everyone in my family played soccer, and the paw print resembles dogs because have three dogs. The cactus resembles Arizona because we have lived in Arizona for most of my life. Finally, the road resembles road trips because my family loves going on long road trips.
