The new Hum Drum Conundrums ‘Magic Cube’ will confound and befuddle even Mr Professor Ernő Rubik. It will provide hours of frustrated and humiliating entertainment for the whole family, setting a new benchmark in household entertainment.
This piece was commissioned and illustrated to pull together some memories and family history and other bits and pieces. Naturally, the work grew beyond itself and the illustration was soon accompanied by a hypothetical piece of out-dated marketing that attempts to sell rather than explain this cryptic adaption of Ernő Rubik's infuriating cube.
