Initially, the company bore the name of Dream Studio. The brand enjoys high popularity with Novosibirsk dwellers – it offers high-quality custom apparel printing. Moreover, it designs proprietary printed T-shirts, sweatshirts and dresses.

However, the brand is hardly known outside of Novosibirsk. This is due to the mess around the company’s name and the name of its website, which is spelled differently.
To reach out to a broader market, we have come up with a new brand name. We needed a name that would immediately communicate to the customers what the company does and what it is like.

Designing proprietary apparel lineups. Warrantied quality. Printing any types of images. This is the European approach to business. This is how the LaMaika name was born. The new name is more functional – it is easy to read, clearly communicates the company’s specialization, and lines it up with the competitors.

We chose a friendly bulldog for its logo. It enhances the French style of the name and the company’s family values. The bulldog seems to be ready for both fun and work. And it is definitely cute.
Challenge and Solution

To help the company reach a broader market, we designed a new brand name, logo and overall look. A friendly French bulldog became a new character to stand for the company. With its four paws, It shows it’s support the French style of the company, the homey coziness it bears, and represents a standing readiness to get down to active work. And it is also a cutie, isn't it?  


Result

As soon as the style was ready, the company refurnished the shop, changed both the sign and the website lamaika.ru. The imagery now lives its life, and gladdens the eye of the developers and customers.
