'3' is a project based on the association of sounds with past memories, representing different stages of life. This interactive project aims to create a journey through a life experienced tactually, visually and aurally.
A 3-column structure was constructed where people were invited to touch the panels
and hear the soundscapes composed, taking the person through life with sounds.
Logo CONSTRUCTION
The Circle represents 'Birth and Childhood'. The cyclical shape is used to represent pregnancy and the lines to represent the linearity of life.
The overturned triangle is known to be a symbol that represents women in their strongest, fertile stage of life.
Therefore this shape was chosen to embody the Adulthood stage of life.
Towards the end of our lives we realise that connections are lost along the way and even though our lives may have been long and full,
They will never be finished. This is why for the last stage of life; elderly life, the open ended square was chosen as a symbol.

Your touch on the poster activates a circuit. By using the headphones provided, one may listen to soundscapes
that represent diverse situations we find ourselves in throughout our lives.
