He may lack in particular ideological and historical context, which stands behind pragmatic or more self–expressive currents. He sees desgning mainly on formal level, which decreases its role, and may result in wrong solutions.

How to make the user getting know the values of readability, functionality and comprehensibility?
Initial assumptions
This compilation set of esseys is supposed to be an introduction to a wider overlook on typography, to aware and inform about values strongly connected with the purpose of typography, which is a message to the real consumer. Vicariously, the publication is coceived to be the first step for building foundation of the user–designer values.
Publication goals:
– passing the knowledge about the concepts and the reasons which are crucial for typography design,
– vicariously – to impact on users attitude, which is concious design,
– to depict context and historical discourse by the described theories and attitudes of the practitioners and critics of typography.
