Cloth and textiles have been used since the beginning of time to tell stories. In the current culture of mass-manufacturing, constant-consumption and technology, we have lost our connection to the 'personal' cloth. Inspired by my mother, a textile designer, who works with century old machines, this program aims to connect new-age generative pattern making with 'old' age craft and tactile connection in order to create emotive, storytelling, textiles. By inputting the current landscape of your many moods and emotions an abstracted pattern is generated to visually describe your current state-of-being. This program can be integrated through fabrics, wallpaper, apparel, & more.
