The client seeks to overhaul the image of the company, specifically to both their old and new infra structures. to translate their long standing legacy, diverse body of work and excellence into architectural language that is synonymous to sophistication and cutting edge.

Rough initial design : the ideas revolve around building a viable structure, in a notably narrow site. creating ample opportunities to explore the difference on layers and to play with tilted geometry to produce an interesting ground for the ideas to develop
Objectives - Contested Requirements - tasks
- Building must represent Torishima Company in ideology, excellence, technological achievement.
- Attractive facade as the ''New face'' of Torishima Comany in indonesia.
- Houses specific number of middle to top tier employees (i.e. 2 directors. 2 vice directors, 35 employees etcc)
- Must be comprehensibly and seamlessly attached to Torishima Pump service station / Factory floor (stage 2)
Role in Project :
- Lead designer : Concept - Design ideas - Realization - Presentation
- Vice project manager : Liaise between clients - prime contractors - Technical Meetings
- Assistant architect : Conduct daily report to (non)existing principal architect.
- Building must represent Torishima Company in ideology, excellence, technological achievement.
