Flex Chair is a flat piece of 4' X 4' plywood CNC routed and assembled. Using solely a subtractive process a simple material was able to be transformed into a multifunctional piece of furniture. Various wood bending techniques were utilized on the 3/4" thick plywood sheets to be able to follow the curves of the design.
