Graduate Project - Digital Moral Storytelling

Digital Moral Storytelling - Motion Graphic
Throughout the course of Digital Media Design, I created a motion graphic for my final graduate project. Here I used techniques of using all media elements from sound, animation, illustration and text to make the modern day of telling stories to children.

In this project you will find two videos with narration and animation, followed by two books to wider the range of my audience by using a variety of visual learning and understanding.
Why Digital Storytelling?

- Because Stories are important to how we as humans understand the world around us.
- They are units of measurements for how we communicate with one another.
- Storytelling is a basic human function and is important to humans at a cognitive level.

"human minds yield helplessly to the suction of story. No matter how hard we concentrate, no matter how deep we dig in our heels, we just can't resist."
- Science writer Jonathan Gottschall (The story telling animal)

Storytelling make deeper connections with people when we reveal our humanity and speak in ways that people find real and natural.

Stories tickle and stimulate the brain. Any human brain more than plain facts do. This is because we create impact. As impact is a crucial part of storytelling  this creates the emotional affect to the viewer.
