Artzn | Sharing economy for artists
Artzn aims to provide a platform for people to re-engage with the art produced in their communities, to support and to become patrons, by taking advantage of the possibilities offered by the sharing economy and its tools.

On the homepage users can quickly begin their search for events around them. The Search bar allows for customized searches, narrowing results according to type of event, date range, location, and price range.

5 stars | rating done by other users helps to promote artists and engage fans

Research findings
Peripheral areas lack on art venues, yet are filled with art lovers and artists. | The more an artist showcase their work, greater are their chances to succeed. | Securing a venue to show ones art is hard work. | High prices are one of the reasons people can’t or won’t attend an art event. | P2P offers an opportunity to by pass traditional organizations, create alternative markets, and to support anti-establishment tendencies.
Sketches
In this phase I drew some ideas for logos based on hand lettering, as well as thumbnails for the website, including a homepage, profile page, event and a few buttons and search bars.
Survey
Participants seem most concerned with having art events available at a reasonable distance and reasonable price. They also seem to care about supporting their community, while not paying much attention if the venue hosting the event is a professional space. People said they find it important to be somehow involved in the event, but surprisingly care a bit less if their friends would be attending the same event.
