For the past year I've been shooting new instant film for old school Polaroid cameras. I've been using an old SX-70 I snatched off ebay and using film produced by The Impossible Project (the story about how they came about is very interesting, read it here).
Their early film releases were unstable and experimental, and while it was very cool and unique, it was far from the clear, colorful images Polaroid mastered in their film. However just recently they have released film closely similar to the past instant film giants.
The results are amazing, and I was fortunate enough to have one of my photos used in their advertising for their new film. Below is a scan of the original image i shot on this new film and postcards and posters that were designed by them.
If you are unfamiliar with The Impossible Project or have been interested in using their film but have not yet done so, I urge you to give them a shot. They are really something special.
