Bibliophilia
--
Bibliophila is an independent publication produced with the intention of acting as an eclectic insight into the ethos, thesis, practice and process that revolves around the current climate of printed publications, through an exploration of the stimulants, chemistry and relationships formed between humans and the printed book.

Within Bibliophilia a realm of interviews and case studies were conducted with relevant and leading industry creatives working primarily in Europe.

It was important that the values of Bibliophilia become apparent through both the design and production of the book so the book was digitally printed in-house and hand bound using traditional binding techniques.

The book was exhibited at the Collective Exhibition in Canterbury, Kent, 2017.
The book was produced as a Student project whilst studying for my B.A. Hons degree at the University of Kent, and was made for entirely academic purposes, non-profit
and not for sale.
