Dust Jacket Redesign
Dust Jacket redesign for the book, "Love in the Time of Cholera" by the Colombian nobel price Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This was a school project and the objective was to express through the design the essence of the book by using typography.
The design was inspired by the posters and flyers that were distributed back in the 20th century when the cholera outbreak happened. On the front cover I created a clean typographic color in a script font that along with an old paper texture create the feel of a hand written letter.
On the left flap my photo was placed instead of the writer's.
