Artwork and Editorial Design for Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis
The streets of Prague are engrained with the legacy of Kafka. Self destructive nature, tainted relationship with his father, social status, romantic problems, job...all these are similarities between Kafka himself and the infamous main character of Metamorphosis, Gregor. Was this novella from 1915 really just an autobiography?
By combining street photographs from Prague with old photographs of Kafka and his family I highlight the similarities between Gregor and Kafka, as well as his permanence in the history of Prague.
