Vision Magazine

The Vision Magazine was an optional addition to my final assignments when I was at the end of my apprenticeship at the Mediadesign (MDH) college in Düsseldorf. The original task was to create a magazine or booklet with the focus on the topic tea or coffee. Either way, the pictures were given by our tutor and we had to use them. I knew that I wanted to do something completely different the minute I saw the pictures. Don't get me wrong I don't want to sound arrogant, but I wanted to do something that I would be proud of. Since it was something that we would do by choice I wanted to do something that would be fun to work on. A project that might even come to life one day. I was 50% brave and 50% crazy enough to think that he would even say yes without feeling offended. He trusted my taste and said that I should go for it. I didn't disappoint him or myself with the outcome. My tutor rated the magazine with an A, showed it to his colleges and wanted to have the file on a stick so he could show it to other classes that he is teaching. Now that's a compliment haha! I was and still am really proud of it. The Vision Magazine is a project that reflects my taste and style of work. Something that I would love to see out there more often. If I had to re-do it today (2017) I would change a few things of course. But I'm absolutely cool with it for being something that I created back in 2015. Have a look.
