Mempix is a new "live multi-color font", which means that you can install it like any other font and simply type multi-color text! Inspired by the postmodern design of Memphis Group, it's identity can be described as Pop Art + 80's. Mempix is happy, optimistic, friendly, like fun and party and live between Miami/Paris/Tokyo :) I wanted to make it as bold as it could be, to enable maximum space for color geometry shapes (triangles, circles, squares and lines). No glyph has the same colors/shapes combination, for the sake of visual variability. Some glyphs lost their white space (like A, V, B etc.) while others have it minimal, in order to keep themselves recognizable (H, E, G i.e). In such situation, overall blackness of the glyph became much more important than vertical/horizontal contrast. This makes Mempix "ultra display" typeface, because it sacrifices some usual type rules in order to become even bolder and cooler. Mempix is made using amazing Fontself software, https://www.fontself.com/ Learn more about color fonts & their support in third-party apps on www.colorfonts.wtf Read Less

I wanted to make it as bold as it could be, to enable maximum space for color geometry shapes (triangles, circles, squares and lines). No glyph has the same colors/shapes combination, for the sake of visual variability. Some glyphs lost their white space (like
A, V, B etc.) while others have it minimal, in order to keep themselves recognizable
(H, E, G i.e). In such situation, overall blackness of the glyph became much more important than vertical/horizontal contrast.

This makes Mempix "ultra display" typeface, because it sacrifices some usual type rules
in order to become even bolder and cooler.
