WeMe is an homage to the afterhour culture of the Berlin clubbing scene.
It seeks inspiration from the fragile and destructive beauty of social interaction and dancing during afterhours. Social relations mostly last for the ongoing of the party, by that means several days and nights. Clubs offer a context to live a clubnight of electronic music as a “run-fast” emotional journey. The process of getting to know each other is quite accelerated when talking and dancing for 36 to 60 hours at a pace of 126 bpm. To live through days and nights in this manner can be a quite destructive force but as well it contains an inexplicable magic.
