As part of the production event six othersand myself put together a music production team. Our plan was to write anOlympic based popular music song and to construct a music video sticking to thetheme of the Olympics. Knowing that a generic ‘pop’ song would be mostsuccessful we decided to stick to this theme and contacted MC NXTGEN who wroteand recorded an Olympic rap/pop anthem for our project. The song that heproduced was, I felt, very good indeed and thus we were all very happy to useit. I believe that if I was to do this project again or a similar project Iwould like to have a go at writing the song myself or working closer with theartist when the song was in production. However in this instance it wasn’tparticularly necessary.

The production of the music video was shared between all of us, I really enjoyed this production and have since I have been making music videos with gaming clips and wish to progress onto making promotional videos.
