I worked closely with the Security team on redesigning and rebuilding their security portal. There was a lot of user research done before I joined the team and I filtered this to goals and needs. Then lead a small team in the design and implementation. We did a first round of redesign on all main pages and a lot of information architecture. We then started to build out the customization options of adding specific projects and a very early "dashboard". The team ran out of runway for the financial quarter and we were unable to refine the vision and designs further.
