Adventure Aquarium’s newest exhibit, Piranha Falls, provides a multi-sensory, exhilarating experience of life on the Amazon River. A 40 foot waterfall provides the dramatic backdrop and changing weather indoors with a massive rain storm provides the drama. Plus, the legendary omnivorous red-bellied piranha are highlighted as one of the key residents of the Amazon rainforest.
The objective was to create awareness and drive visitation through providing a new product/message for the exhibit while keeping with the overall Adventure Aquarium brand and personality of "Explore Life Underwater." The target audience is mothers around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Deliverables included social media ads as well as OOH.
This concept is designed to showcase the full experience of the Piranha Falls exhibit–not just its namesake fish. It touches on the idea of creating memories and doing things as a family, and elicits the feeling of exploration and discovery.
