Journalistic zine offering a fresh perspective on Rotterdams Sex Clubs.

From the windows of my flat I can see the doors of two stripclubs. I was fascinated by the contradiction of the flashy signs and the closed doors and windows. This is why I decided to enter this secretive world in order to gain a better understanding of what happens behind these doors. On a wednesday night, I entered and started talking to some of the men that came to watch the girls. Unsurprisingly, they weren’t very open to talk about why they are here. Only when I started talking to the working girls, I started to hear intriguing stories and insights. I moved on to conduct interviews and photograph Tasha, who was working as an erotic dancer. Inspired by her story, I wrote and essay showing her perspective on the subject and created a seethrough corset on a quest to allow the women to protect some areas of their bodies from the stranger’s touch.
