Self Branding Portfolio & Resume Publication
This project requires an in-depth understanding of myself as a designer. It is an exploration of who I am and who I want to become in this design field. It is a channel for me to express my creativity, and to showcase my design thinking and skills that I have accumulated over my education and work experience.
It involved a mix medium - paper and transparency sheets. Each transparency sheet is imprinted with text of a cursive font, which is of a stark contrast compared to the structured sans serif font that I’ve applied throughout the entire publication. The cursive handwriting font symbolises a touch of personalisation and versatility, whereas the sans serif font symbolises the modern, bold, and structured look and feel that I uphold throughout my design works.
By imprinting the cursive fonts on a transparency and putting it as an overlay over the actual layout; it symbolises the different perspectives that I take, and my adaptability as a designer. It is a representation of how I would look at things through different angles, and how I would always inject my quirk and style into my works. The main colours - red and blue, are also utilised to further enhance that message, as these are the 2 colours that are involved in anaglyph 3D.
