The Department of Sociology and Anthropology (DSA) hosted the 38th Annual Conference of the Ugnayang Pang-Aghamtao, Inc. (UGAT) or the Anthropological Association of the Philippines with the cooperation of the Office of the Dean of the School of Social Sciences (SOSS) and the Institute of Philippine Culture (IPC).

This is first time that this national gathering of anthropologists was held at the Ateneo de Manila. The DSA’s participation is a way to increase the visibility of the Department in the professional scene, and to recognize the long-time contribution of the IPC to anthropological scholarship in the Philippines.

The DSA requested the artist to design and produce publication materials and collateral for the promotion of the conference.
