Flipside is a project exploring anticipation and the links between waiting and environments. The spaces we wait in typically all look the same and are very unemotional in design despite the fact that so many emotions are felt there.

Flipside aims to challenge this form through exaggeration. The Flipside chair accentuates the feelings of dread and excitement, emotions under the anticipation umbrella, investigating form and its relationship with emotion.
