A single design for notebooks sent to new Plymouth College of Art students as part of a welcome pack. The initial idea was revised and experimented with, changing colour and layering the pattern over itself. The final design was a two layered, single colour pattern screen-printed onto two colours. The notebooks were staple-bound and contained blank pages as well as a postcard containing a small interview from me, the designer as well as contact details.
During the development of the notebooks, many variations were made. From those, two designs were selected and printed using a riso printer. The notebooks produced were then sold to raise money for the Graphic Designs stands at D&AD
and New Designers.
