An IT manager has to deal with many different issues throughout their working day. HP ProCurve equips them with the powers to solve everyday IT problems with the skill and ease of a Martial arts master.

We developed this viral game with a 80's retro feel along the lines of 'Final Fight' and 'Street Fighter', showing the benefits of using Procurve in a humorous and fun way. The game specifically targeted an audience of IT professionals, but could be enjoyed by anyone.

The idea behind the viral was to create a game based on an ancient martial art that subtly highlighted the benefits of using a ProCurve system. The player takes the role of Dave the IT manager and has to progresses through three different levels, starting in the server room and eventually finishing in the bosses office. Over these three levels Dave encounters different dangers including attacks from hacker ninjas, exploding trojan horses and disappearing network worms.

I was involved in the conception, Art direction, design and also led meetings with the third party games developer 'Errorware Games'. The final execution was placed across a wide range of online gaming portals such as 'Miniclip.com', 'Dailygames.com' and 'MoFunZone.com'.
