How To Be A Goondu For A Day / 白目養成法

How To Be A Goondu For A Day
"Goondu" is equivalent of the English word "idiot" in Tamil.

Local culture is best described as a melting pot of mainly Chinese, British, Malay, and Indian cultures, a reflection of its immigrant history. Thus, many interesting and quirky behaviors or slang words are derived from the culture. Once the behaviour is habituated, it becomes a part of culture. Upon an observation from the perspective of tourist and foreigner, they may find it strange as the difference of the behavior between local and them. A lot of quirky and typical behaviours can be spotted anytime around everywhere. Before visiting any country, foreigners have to do some researches about that place. Once they understand the meaning behind the behaviours, plenty of mis-understanding and conflicts can be avoided.

All outcomes tend to be applied in illustration style. The style is sort of like doodle style to bring out the humour sense of the behaviours. Magenta and yellow are the main colors of illustration. The colors make the design outcomes eye-catching.

In the first place, this project has no offence to anyone. The project is sort of like a sarcasm yet self-reflection for local as well.
