Located on West27th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues, the Hôtel Americano sits on what is one of NewYork's most active gallery streets by day and vibrant club scenes bynight. The façade of the hotel directlyreflects this dichotomy. The hotelfloors are set back from the street behind a stainless steel mesh screen, withcatwalks between. This screen willcreate a much needed buffer between the street side hotel rooms and the allnight activity of the bars and clubs below, while providing the hotel,restaurant and club with an iconic, highly recognizable public face. The program includes 56-room, a roof deckwith a pool, bar, and garden terrace, which alleviate the surrounding concretejungle with reflective surfaces, water, greenery, and views of the cityscape.
