Environments - The african saloon

I was looking for information about Africa when inspiration came suddenly to create a new cartoon environment :)
The first thing that came to my mind is that I wanted to use a simply painted wall paper and that the room should have a modern interior with African touches.
I imagined a character who is an explorer in the 21st century, who likes to travel, but lives in the city. I wanted him to be someone who likes ostentatious details but who maintains a balance with the wide spaces and pure lines. It has a purchasing power because it lives in a large house, perhaps in the hills from where you can see the city from large windows.
It occurred to me that this character could have a huge antique mirror and some heavy and rococo curtains, maybe inherited. The furniture had to be straight lines and vintage but bought today, 1950s style, dark wood and in which you can see the veins. The rest of the decoration had to be elements that the character has brought from his explorations to Africa and none of them would be of animal origin, only native craftsmanship. The light had to be orange and the interior had to predominate the green, the reddish color in different ways and golden touches.
I had a certain influence of scenography of films like "Mogambo" (1953) or "The Naked Jungle" (1954) mainly by the mixtures of western styles and "of explorer that controls everything" with native styles, more natural and more unforeseeable.
