A project about the perception of women in the Egyptian Society and the many issues they face through tackling a popular subject which is the country's Native Dance, Belly Dancing. The final product is an online user interactive website that informs the user about the mostly unknown history of the dance, its different movements and the many benefits it surprisingly has for the body, mental and emotional state of the woman, as well as empowering her. It contains movement and vivid colors difficult to ignore through digitally drawn elements and backgrounds, and takes the user on an interesting journey. The outcome will be shared on several social media platforms to reach the biggest audience, and will be referred to by different Gyms and Dance Studios, encouraging woman of all ages and different shapes and sizes to join. All Illustrations and Animations were digitally drawn, colored and animated frame by frame using a digital tablet, and via SVG CSS animations. The website's coding was also done by me, as an attempt to delve deeper into the web design world and expand my knowledge. Read Less
