Varsity Pinball
2016-2017, 3" x 3" vinyl stickers, 1" metal buttons, one-color screenprint on t-shirt
A series of concepts for Ohio garage-rock/power-pop band Varsity Pinball. Image was taken off of a still of Elton John's performance from the Who's film "Tommy," and modified with tentacle/vein accents based on my love of John Carpenter films and H.P. Lovecraft stories.
The lettering was done by hand in Illustrator, and all linework was done by mouse, no stylus involved.
The mother and baby, along with their unnaturally long umbilical cord spelling out the band name, was done in spring of 2017, and will be used for a future t-shirt design.
