I designed and manufactured a prototype of this camera obscura as my final MA project. It features a machined aluminium body, and a double turret ‘lens’ which offers a choice of various pinholes and filters. It is an experimental camera that enables its user to explore the rich artistic possibilities offered uniquely by pinhole photography. I used SolidWorks to design and document the product for CNC machining.
