Death Deform, is a series of drawings that come together forming a narration of the body and the signs of deformation that shows as time passes, till the time of death.
Most of these original drawings are in a book that I have lost.
These drawings are made for over two years, not knowing which drawing will connect with the other.
After a conscious look at the previous drawings that I had made and the ones that I was making during the end of the project, I realised that they narrated the ageing of the human body.
Some of the drawings were imaginative while the others were drawn looking at the actual physical state of two of my grandfathers with whom I lived.
The end of the project came with death.
I would like to acknowledge the lives of Kantilal Vora and Natwarlal Vora, with whom I grew up.
