This project 'Flower to Fruit' is simply about nature — we wanted to illustrate the fruit we all know in a different way. Therefore, we chose to show them through their own flowers.

The idea came naturally while sketching on our notebooks. Afterwards, we did a little research on flowers related to fruits which could be recognisable by their own silhouette. 

In the case of cherries we decided to use the cherry blossom, though not all produce edible fruits, for the simple reason that their flowers are more noticeable than the flowers of common cherry trees.
