10 Minutes of Suffering

10 Minutes of Suffering is a shareable campaign to spread awareness of the issues within the fur industry. The campaign features three animals created out of skinning equipment to focus on the process and hardships that these animals endure to create fashion accessories. It takes up to ten minutes for an animal to die after being skinned. Share the campaign to help stop the suffering.
The campaign features the most commonly farmed animals for their fur. These are minks, foxes and rabbits. Fur farms are still at large and are being driven by consumers in China and Russia, where the majority of these farms are located. The campaign would appear on social media sites such as facebook, twitter and instagram to promote awareness of the issue.

The body of the animal is designed out of skinning equipment to create a piece of art that questions the ethical concerns with the fur trade. During the skinning process, the head of the animal is often left therefore the heads of the animals are illustrated. The typeface used, PT Sans, is based on Russian sans serif types of the second part of the 20th century, that reference Russian typography.
