INSTead is a project which consists of a proposal of a whole new range of Instagram filters, recreated and improved based on a survey with a sample of 300 people. The filters were created based on the responses, in order to satisfy Instagram users. This new series of Instagram filters was also designed according to the predominant color of each photo. All of them look more natural and soft - even the ones with more saturation and contrast - than the current Instagram filters, that people end up not using because they change the photos too much, making them irrealistic.

In these catalog build based on the well-known square Instagram photos format, it’s possible to see photos that were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S6 within the period of my Erasmus Program, with the filters applied. The names of the filters are not the names of the places I have been to, but the names of the cities where my Erasmus friends come from. This is actually a project when a part of this last 5 months is exposed and filtered with the new filters I created by myself. This is like my Instagram in an album INSTead.
