2017 Business Card Design
With the beginning of June 2017 marking my first steps into the world of freelance/design job hunting, I needed a new clean design for some business cards. The inspiration for the front of the cards comes from the movie titled "Fifth Element". This wavy representation is the symbol for water on one of the four elemental stones. Growing up near water as a youngin' and living in the City of Lakes presently, I have always felt an affliction towards water. The color way for this design is inspired by a tattoo I have and my love for the calming, healing properties that greens and blues inspire within me. I chose the Futura typeface for its crisp, clean forms that reflect the appearance of efficiency and forwardness even today.
